GTA V
"Grand Theft Auto V." Rockstar

Rockstar games has announced that the "Grand Theft Auto V" movie-making feature, the Rockstar Editor, will be arriving on consoles soon. The feature will be coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in the titles next patch update.

According to a blog post on Rockstar's Newswire, the feature will be coming to consoles sooner than later although the company didn't reveal an official release date. The Rockstar Editor is currently only available on PC but the fact that Rockstar is giving us a pre-announcement means the actual reveal is not far off.

Rockstar Editor can be used to make anything from documents of your Los Santos antics, faux movie trailers or actual short films.

With the Rockstar Editor feature gamers get a powerful video creation tool which include special camera modes, filters, depth of field and audio customization options as well as the unique Director Mode feature that allows you to stage creative movie-making sequences from a cast of characters ranging from familiar faces from Story Mode, to pedestrians and even animals. You’ll be able to upload finished films to YouTube and to the Rockstar Games Social Club to share with other gamers.
