Univision's primetime telenovela "Hasta El Fin Del Mundo" comes to an end on the network Friday and we have the juicy details on how it all ends. David Zepeda and Marjorie De Sousa star in this melodrama that had major drama behind-the-scenes with its initial leading actor, Pedro Fernández quit. The transition was a change that did not to affect the course of the story and did not completely lose its audience. MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD! The last episode picks up with Chava (Zepeda) and Sofía (De Sousa) getting into a car accident. Chavita looks over to his right and can't seem to find the love of his life and he yells, yells and yells for her. Meanwhile Géronimo (Roberto Vander) is making plans with a group of investors to build a mall where the Ripoll chocolate factory is at. Chavita goes to the authorities to help him find Ms. Ripoll. Géronimo and his partner kill off a man and he falls into the ocean.
Sofía has been kidnapped and locked up in a dark room that only has an old, ugly mattress. Alexa (Claudia Alvarez) is having fun with Ranku (Pedro Moreno) in the exquisite waters of Isla Najibá. Sofía doesn't loose hope as she has her child to live for. Alexa can't seem to get over Armando (Diego Olivera) as she imagines him there swimming in the waters with her. Géronimo pays a visit to Sofía, he kidnapped her because she rejected him. Sofía doesn't want anything to do with that gross man that can only seem to get a woman by taking away her liberty. That's just disgusting! Géronimo tells Sofía that it was him that planned the fire of the factory as well as the death of Salvador's mother. Sofía goes crazy furious, jumps, kicks, screams....this can't be good for the baby, right?
Back at Isla Najibá, Alexa's life is in danger. She falls into quicksand thanks to a trap by her nemesis in the jungle. Ranku comes to her rescue and is saved from dying. Patricio (Julián Gil) is stabbed to death by Don (Alberto Estrella) for whistle-blowing. Alexa decides to return home. Oliver (Eddy Villard) is kidnapped and Géronimo receives a video of his capture. Sofía is placed inside a box where she is going to get shipped, to who knows where. Let's hope they don't use UPS, their boxes always come out shattered and mishandled grossly. Géronimo see's his son dying as he is hung upside down excessively bleeding. Mafioso Mike is behind all of this happening. Police see suspicious individuals outside the abandoned theatre and call for backup. Regina (Arleth Terán) leads Chava and Armando to where Sofía is and rescue her. As police raid the theatre, Géronimo shoots himself in the mouth, right in front of his son.
The chocolate factory is back in business now as Sofer Industrias. Silvana (Mariana Seoane) reunites with her father. She tells the Ripoll family that she is now a changed woman since the death of Patricio. Silvana reveals that she was the one that planned the failed assassination of Greta (Olivia Bucio). Silvana always hated Greta because she was in the belief that she was the one that caused her mother to kill herself. Silvana tells the Ripoll sisters she is the daughter of Octavio Ripoll. It was he that gifted SIlvana's mother the gun that she used to take her life away. Chava is featured on a sports tv show where he talks about his success as a race car driver. He also announces that he will retire from driving to dedicate his life to his family and children. It is revealed that Sofía is pregnant with triplets. Chava and Armando announce they will open a school to train the up and coming drivers.
Three years pass by, they have a party. Sofía and Chava have three kids. Everyone is happy and life is perfect...blah, blah, blah and more blah. Chava takes Sofía on a spin in his race car and Sofía asks, "now tell me, where are we going?" Chava replies, "Hasta el fin del mundo." They both kiss....THE END!
