According to Radio Ink magazine Clear Channel Media and Entertainment has added 55 stations to its iHeartRadio Hispanic Network. These stations come from Grupo ACIR which basically owns and/or operates the stations across Mexico.

The website also states that Clear Channel will also become the digital ad sales provider for all these Mexican stations, exchanging all local Mexican ads with those targeted at consumers in the US. As Fox Latino points out this change is because Clear Channel wants to expose American's to the Mexico-based programming.

iHeartRadio will stream select local ACIR stations such as Siempre, which is Mexico City's music, news and sports station, and La 1260, which is a popular Mexico City AM News and Talk station.

Furthermore the addition of ACIR stations to iHeartRadio will provide US listeners with instant access to some of Mexico's most notable national radio brands such as Amor, featuring Spanish love songs; Mix, which plays Mexico's favorite songs from the 80s, 90s and today in English; Comadre, a Mexican Regional Hits format; and Felicidad offering Mexico's favorite Oldies.

Listeners will also have access to top Hispanic personalities like Alejandro Villalvazo, Antonio de Valdés, Charo Fernández, Sofía Sánchez Navarro, Iñaki Manero, Rocío Córdova, Carlos "Chicken" Muñoz, Carlos Martín Huerta, José Martín Sámano, Alex Montiel, Pepe Segarra, Arturo "Rudo" Rivera and many more.

Vice President and General Manager of ACIR Antonio Ibarra expressed his excitment about the move on Radio World saying, “We are very happy that our stations will be available on the iHeartRadio platform and that we can reach the growing Hispanic community in the U.S.”
