Walmart is aggressively attracting customers this Christmas season as the retail giant is offering a special discount on the hot-selling new iPhone 6. According to the company, the iPhone 6 16GB will be available for just $129 with a two-year contract from AT&T, Verizon, or Sprint. What's more, the top-of-the-line iPhone 6 Plus will also be available at Walmart starting at $229 with a two-year contract from AT&T, Verizon, or Sprint. Both deals on the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus represent $50 in savings!

Christmas deals are available for Android users as well. Walmart is offering awesome deals on the Samsung Galaxy S5. When purchased with a two-year contract, you can walk out of Walmart with a brand-new Samsung for just $79, a $60 discount over it's original $139 retail price.

Unfortunately, there is an asterisk to the smartphone discounts: the deals are only for in-store purchases and are unavailable online.

For Walmart, the smartphone deals represent a final Hail-Mary for holiday sales. According to the National Retail Federation, less than 10 percent of Americans have completed their holiday shopping. What's more, Black Friday sales were a disappoinment this year as experts estimate a sales decline of 11 percent during the period.
