New reports are claiming that Apple will launch its highly rumored iPhone 6 device Tuesday, Oct. 14 as the month itself will be very busy for the company, according to MacRumors via a source close to the company. According to the source a Senior Lead mentioned that Oct. 14 would be an "immense" day for Apple, but included that October would be just as busy for the company and stores.

Earlier reports have claimed that Apple will announce the device early September which is still plausible. If that is correct then these two events will be for multiple products. The early report suggest that the Sept. 16 event will be for the iPhone 6 and iOS 8, while the following October event will be to announce the rumored iWatch, OS X Yosemite, updated iPads, and new Macs.

Perhaps the dates are split up to announce the two different varieties of iPhones, the 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch models. It is uncertain at this point if both devices will be announced at the same time or if Apple will split them up. Recent rumors have pointed out that the larger device is having production issues so it is quite possible that that iPhone will be announced at the October event. Both devices are rumored to feature larger screens, slimmer profiles, faster A8 processors and improved cameras.

If these rumors are to be believed it will be a change from Apple's usual launch dates for an iPhone. In the past the company has launched iPhones and most new hardware on a Friday. But this change may occur due to the high customer demand for Apple products. As of now this is all speculation and until Apple officially comes out and announces a press conference its safe to take any news regarding the iPhone 6 with a grain of sale.
