A Chinese company has realized what many tech enthusiasts can only dream of — a case that would enable an iPhone device to run the Android OS.

This week, Chinese company Haimawan started selling its newest product called the MESUIT, a special type of case for the iPhone 6s and the iPhone 6s Plus that comes with an Android-based operating systemappropriately named Mesuit OS 1.0., according to Android Authority.

Since the operating system is Android-based, it would enable the iOS-running smartphones to run Android apps.

However, because the Mesuit OS 1.0 is not entirely an independent operating system, it just runs as an app within Apple’s iOS of newer iPhones.

Basically, users will not get a software that dual boots iOS and Android, but it’s close enough for iPhone users who also want to enjoy the Android interface and apps on their devices, Slash Gear noted.

On top of its Android-based software, MESUIT also brings other upgrades to the table.

It has a 1,700mAh battery, so it doubles as a battery case for the iPhone 6s — a noteworthy feature knowing that Apple’s smartphones do not come with large battery packs. For the iPhone 6s Plus, the extra battery is a 2,500mAh unit.

If the extra battery is not enough, another reason that would lure iPhone owners to purchase the case is the fact that it comes with a 16GB add-on memory in the enclosure, as reported by The Verge.

Furthermore, MESUIT has a slot for a nano SIM, and users can simultaneously run it with the SIM inside the smartphone.

Haimawan’s high-tech case also works for the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus, and it’s most likely that the company would build another variant for the upcoming iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus and the iPhone 7 Pro.

Unfortunately, Haimawan is exclusively selling its MESUIT case in China, with no word yet if it plans to release it to the international market, especially in the United States.

A MESUIT case for the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6s costs ¥999.00 or $150, while the larger version for the iPhone 6 Plus and the iPhone 6s Plus costs ¥1099.00 or $165.

Haimawan has said that its next goal is to create a similar case that would allow Android smartphones to run Apple’s iOS.
