Jencarlos Canela's career is skyrocketing to the top and there's no stopping him now. After being a captain on Univision's "Va Por Ti," Canela is not only starring alongside Eva Longoria in NBC's upcoming series "Hot & Bothered" (previously known as "Telenovela"), but he also keeps making music. His newest single "Bajito" featuring Ky-Mani Marley (son of the late iconic reggae star Bob Marley) is soon to release in iTunes on June 2nd, but it's been making the rounds and people are loving it!

"On my tour, people love the song, they sing it and laugh because it's fun," Canela said to People En Español about his new single. But we've heard the single already, and it's pretty sensual and kinky --which makes us believe that fans are just nervously giggling.

The Cuban-American actor has stated in the past that he's a fan of mariachi and rancheras music. However, he's also a sucker for reggae music and that's when his collaboration with Ky-Mani comes in. "I love this type of music. I came to a point where I decided to make music for my happiness, not to please anyone else. That's what I did with 'Bajito.'"

His collaboration with the reggae artist happened organically, thanks to Dominican star Maffio, who happens to be a mutual friend.

"Maffio is the producer of this song, so he told me: 'Do you know who's going to pass by the studio? Ky-Mani Marley.' I was in in Puerto Rico doing a presentation. He showed him the song and Maffio called me by Facetime, he pressed play and Ky-Mani had already recorded his part," the 27-year-old actor and singer recalled.

As June 2nd rolls around to drop the official release, Canela also stated that he couldn't be any happier with the outcome of his new single. "I'm proud of this collaboration," he said.
