The Rivera family, who seems to be following the Quintanilla’s steps, organized “Jenni Vive” to honor late Mexican Banda singer Jenni Rivera. The event is planned to happen every year on July 2 in different cities of México and the United States. This year, the celebration will occur in Long Beach, California, where the singer grew up.

The full list of entertainers has not yet been revealed, but the event’s official website has confirmed appearances by Chiquis Rivera and Becky G. Jenni’s brother, Juan Rivera, stated that the Rivera’s plan to make this event a yearly concert not only to honor “La Diva de la Banda” but also to raise money for women and children who are victims of domestic abuse. In fact, the event will donate a portion of their proceeds to charity through the Jenni Rivera Love Foundation.
