Last June we learned Singer, JLo and her boyfriend of 2 ½ years, Casper Smart, had split for good. Sources indicated that the pair had been apart for over two months but had kept it on the down low so the singer could focus on her upcoming tour. At the time, rumors about the breakup said it was due to an infidelity on his part with a transsexual. Smart not only denied the allegations, but he threatened to sue for defamation. Even so, things seem to be more than ok with the couple. TMZ reported that the pair was spotted yesterday, cruising in what might be JLo’s car, even though he was driving.
This does not come as a big surprise since the couple had an amicable breakup and truly remained friends. Casper was even spotted visiting the “American Idol” judge on the set of the show more than once. He even took his time moving out from her house, as Lopez was on tour promoting her latest album, AKA. However, the singer was clearly attempting to avoid the paparazzi by docking and hiding as soon as she saw the first photographer but it was too late.
On the other hand, different sources reported to E! News that JLo was very much into reported new love interest, Maksim Chmerkovskiy. The “DWTS” star attended her 45th birthday bash and they looked really happy together. “They were very affectionate.” Sources say they both think very highly of each other and, aside from a few dates here and there, Lopez is taking it very slow. So what’s the deal? Can exes be friends or are JLo and Casper giving their romance a second chance?
