Jennifer Lopez is making sure the American Music Awards get plenty of "Azúcar!" The pop diva, actress, TV producer, fashion designer and entrepreneur has joined the incredible list of performers at the award show and will dedicate her performance to honor the real Latin diva, "The Queen of Salsa," "La Guarachera de Cuba," Celia Cruz. The AMAs have a tradition oh honoring anything Latino. They value our music, our culture and the importance and influence Latinos have in today's music business. This year also marks the 15th anniversary of the creation of the Favorite Latin Artist category, and the 25th anniversary of Gloria Estefan's appearance on the show, making her the first Latin superstar to do so.

Besides the fact that JLo will be entertaining with a medley of Celia's biggest hits, Pitbull is the star chosen to host this year's awards. "Pitbull is a multi-talented global superstar and the right man to take the reins of the night, which is going to be one great global party," said American Music Awards long-time producer Larry Klein. "That's why he is called Mr. Worldwide. He's the perfect choice to celebrate the universal language of music." Klein is also thrilled to have JLo on board, and he told Efe that everyone should brace themselves because there's going to be a lot of dancing with more than 30 dancers on stage only for Jennifer Lopez's performance.

This isn't the first time JLo has been featured at this award show. Back in 2011, she stole the show with her performance of "On The Floor" featuring Pitbull. And although this year her show is mostly Celia-focused, we can't help but to wonder if "Mr. 305" will make a cameo in the medley. He'll already be there hosting, so who knows, maybe they'll do a rendition of "La Negra Tiene Tumbao" or "Quimbara." One thing is for sure, everyone's keeping the chosen songs a secret because "we want it to be a surprise," according to Klein. However, we're positive the two aforementioned hits will make the list, along with "La Vida es un Carnaval."

Lopez has sold more than 75 million albums worldwide, and racked up more than $1.4 billion in worldwide box office receipts, ever since she burst onto the entertainment business as a dancer, later portraying superstar Selena on her biopic, and finally when she made her music debut with her first album "On the 6," in 1999. She also is an award-winning TV personality through participation on "American Idol," and the Jennifer Lopez brand has achieved historic and record-breaking proportions and her fragrances have become the most successful celebrity lines in the world. Don't miss her performance on Sunday, November 24, on ABC.
