It’s been a little over a month since Joan Sebastian lost his 16-year battle with bone cancer. His fans and colleagues now celebrate the life and legacy of the late Mexican singer; however, his son José Manuel Figueroa admitted not too long ago that he was having trouble sleeping since “El Rey del Jaripeo” passed away.

Figueroa told TVyNovelas that mourning his father was tough when he had to deal with all the responsibilities his left him in charge of: "I have to organize everything, that's what he asked me. That's why I'll be organizing everything in another city. I need to disconnect, I'm in shock."

This week, the 40-year-old singer followed up with his stress and chronic fatigue diagnoses, and shared his Doctor’s orders via Twitter: “By Doctor, body and soul’s orders, a well needed rest.”

Figueroa’s doctor, Luis Enrique Pérez, disclosed he advised “El Poeta del Pueblo’s” son to see a specialist to help him deal with his mourning period, so it won’t affect his health anymore. We wish José Manuel a speedy recovery.
