It seems like the world never really got over the Jelena (Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez) breakup, so every little thing the two stars do related to each other makes fans totally freak out. For example, earlier today the Biebs decided to re-follow his former girlfriend on Instagram, and naturally the Internet exploded.

Fans tweeted about the news seen on Instagram saying, “Waiting for Selena to log on to Instagram and follow Justin back but knowing (her) she probably won’t…” or “omg i seriously freaking out right now!” and others said, “There's no one I want together more than Justin and Selena.”

But not only has Selena ignored this fact up to now, also she recently destroyed a sign in one of her concerts that read, “Marry Justin Bieber.” The singer has been very clear about her dismay towards Bieber and the fact that people just cannot get over the former couple. “I would try to promote something that I loved, and the entire interview would be about my personal life,” she told Marie Claire.

Despite wanting to leave all of this behind, Gomez admitted that despite having fun with her love life, she does not fully open up or fully trust anyone anymore. “I've been dating. I've been having the best time. But I don't trust anybody, so dating can only be fun if I know I'm going to have fun.”

As for Bieber, the singer was reportedly in a very short relationship with model Hailey Baldwin, who was one of his close friends before. The two never confirmed or denied the relationship, and during this time, Bieber also posted a throwback photo kissing Gomez, which confused fans even further.

The two singers seem to be extremely busy touring, and it is highly likely that Gomez will just take Bieber as her 82 millionth fan (she is after all the most followed person on Instagram in the world) and go on with her life.
