Kate Del Castillo is opening up about her encounter with Joaquín "El Chapo" Guzmán for the ABC News "20/20" special. "La Reina Del Sur" actress sat down with Diane Sawyer where she gives revelations about that meeting and much more. Sawyer appeared this morning on "Good Morning America" to tease the exclusive and we now know some bits and pieces of what Del Castillo said. Diane asked Kate if "El Chapo" had fallen for her or the character she played on the Telemundo narco-series, Teresa Mendoza. "I don't think it was necessarily me," she answered. "He probably had a crush on Teresa Mendoza." Diane didn't buy it and Kate felt the pressure ultimately admitting that "maybe, yes," the Mexican drug lord was probably in love with Del Castillo.

Another player in this whole encounter was Sean Penn, the actor that exposed the meeting in an article on Rolling Stone magazine. Diane reveals that Kate felt foolish "because she was so sure he just wanted to help her get her movie about 'El Chapo' made." Diane asks, "aren't you angry at him?" Kate replies: "Yes, a little bit, I am. I think he was never interested in the movie. I am hurt, but I am angry at myself because I believe in people and I didn't know Sean Penn." Del Castillo also reveals that she feared for her life at one point during her secret controversial meeting with the kingpin. "My heart started pounding," she recalls. "I actually got the guts to tell him... I said, this is now or never and if I don't say it right now, I might not have another opportunity and if I say it this might be my last words. So, I ask him, I said, 'amigo, just don't forget what I said about my tweet originally, you're a powerful man, you can do something good."
