Video gamers don’t have to wait until after the 2016 World Series to find out who will be featured on the newest MLB The Show cover.

It turns out Baseball Hall of Famer Ken Griffey Jr. is the newest addition. Griffey is without a doubt one of the most popular players to ever play the game. He wasn’t involved in off the field controversies, and he received an incredible 99.32 percent on his very first Hall of Fame ballot.

Griffey played for three different teams: the Seattle Mariners, Cincinnati Reds and Chicago White Sox. Although “The Kid” put together nine memorable seasons with the Reds, he’ll always be remembered more for what he did in Seattle. Not sparingly, The Show has chosen to present Griffey on their cover as a member of the Mariners, where he played for 13 years.

Griffey finished his career with 630 home runs, the sixth most in MLB history.

The game will not be available to play until March 28, however you can pre-order the game now. The game, which comes with numerous digital exclusive amenities, is set to retail for $99.99. There is also a Hall of Fame edition for the PlayStation console that is said to be a $200.00 value. The MVP edition, which includes far less, is going to retail at $69.99 while the standard edition is scheduled for $59.99.

This is the first time that a player featured on The Show is a retired player. Last year Toronto Blue Jays infielder Josh Donaldson graced the cover for both PlayStation 3 and 4.
