Gloria Trevi On 'La Voz México'
The first coach of 'La Voz México' 2016 has been confirmed as auditions are underway around the country. Televisa

Gloria Trevi has been confirmed as a coach for Season 5 of "La Voz México." The "Esa Hembra Es Mala" singer is the first personality to be named in the Miguel Angel Fox production. There are three more seats left and other names that have been rumored to be on the panel are Juan Gabriel, Shakira and Alejandro Sanz. The latter was part of Season 1 of the show and would be his return to the reality program if he opts to come back. Televisa opted not to produce the show last year as there was a budget issue and opted to produce a "Big Brother" edition. Although there was a lot of noise in social media, the reality show didn't do too well in the ratings game.

This year, Televisa will be producing two seasons of "La Voz" side by side. One will be the traditional format, while the other one will be a kids version. Producer Fox has a lot in his plate as he will be behind both productions and will need to coordinate schedules for both. Not only will they need to accomodate the shooting days, but each coach has their own agenda and are generally still touring as they do the show. This has presented a complication for production. For "La Voz Kids" only three coaches are needed. In total, they will need 7 personalities to take on those chairs, plus 7 more that serve as the assistants. More names are set to be confirmed in the coming days. "La Voz México" will start airing in April while "La Voz Kids México" will air in 2017.
