Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett today announced a new joint jazz album coming later this year! The pair revealed the news Tuesday morning in New York City on the "Today" show.

The new album titled "Cheek to Cheek" is slated to release Sept. 23. Gaga on the "Today" show said the album was organic referring to the collaboration.

“The collaboration has been so wonderful. It’s so natural singing with Tony,” Gaga said. “I just learn so much from him every day. I’m so happy.” And Bennett, 87, agreed wholeheartedly complimenting Gaga's vocals and singing style.

“She sings so wonderful and she’s actually really a great jazz singer,” Bennett said. “She improvises every time we do a song. We do it over and over and it’s different every time.”

Gaga isn't necessarily known for dominating the jazz genre but the pop star does admit she grew up singing jazz classics by such artist like Nat King Cole.

“Since I was 13, I’ve been singing jazz and I sang “Orange Colored Sky” in this event that we did together to raise money for the impoverished people of New York City,” Gaga said. “He heard me sing the song and he said ‘I love it. You singing jazz. You want to do an album together?’ And I said, ‘Of course!’”
