'Larrymania' Canceled By NBC Universo?
Following the arrest of Larry Hernández, will NBC Universo cancel "Larrymania?" NBCUniverso

Larry Hernández is a beloved singer and reality show star by many Latinos across the U.S. "El Ardido" singer has been part of a hit show on NBC Universo that documents his personal and professional life. Season 4 of the docu-series just wrapped up, but following the scandal he has been involved in Season 5 seems to be up in the air. Would showcasing the behind-the-scenes of the drama be good for the show? He has not been found guilty following the allegations of kidnapping, but what kind of example will he set for the many fans that follow the program? Is it time to pull the plug and let the rest of his life play out in tabloid magazines?

Larry is being accused by José Andrade of for allegedly kidnapping him after one of his presentations in South Carolina. According to reports, the incident took place on August 16th when the singer was only paid $14,000 for a presentation he was supposed to be paid $30,000 for. The reality show star, along with his bodyguards, assaulted the businessman and took his liberty away when he was locked up in his hotel room. Police reports state that the men "wrapped the victim in plastic and began to hit his face and body, before hitting him against a brick wall." Now Hernández will be extradited from California to South Carolina to face trial.

Earlier this eyear Larry was excited for the premiere of his show on NBC Universo. “I feel blessed and grateful for the audience’s love,” said Hernández. “I owe the success of‘Larrymania’ to my millions of fans who have tuned in to watch since its first season, and the constant support of my family – my motivation in life. He also added, "'Larrymania' offers a genuine view into my life, very real and unscripted… it’s what my fans deserve, and honesty is what people love." LatinTimes reached out to NBC Universo for a statement on the future of "Larrymania" and this is what they said: "At the moment NBC Universo has no comments about the Larry Hernández case."
