Latin American Music Awards 2016 Winners: Enrique Iglesias, CNCO, Prince Royce, More [FULL LIST]

What a show! The Latin American Music Awards took over the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood for its second edition. Hosted for the second consecutive year by Lucero , the award ceremony featured a remarkable array of presenters including the beloved host of the upcoming “Don Francisco Te Invita” show, Mario Kreutzberger, better known as Don Francisco along with Jessica Carrillo .

Among the performers that took the stage at the Latin AMAs were Idina Menzel , Alvaro Soler, Aymee Nuviola, Baby Rasta & Gringo, Banda Sinaloense MS de Sergio Lizarraga, Becky G, ChocQuibTown, CNCO, Dvicio, Flo Rida, Franco de Vita, Gente de Zona, Gerardo Ortiz, Jacob Forever, Jesse & Joy, Joey Montana, La Santa Cecilia, Lucero, LunchMoney Lewis, Miguel Bose, Nicky Jam, Pitbull, Prince Royce and Sofia Reyes . The event also featured a touching tribute to the late Juan Gabriel featuring Lila Downs, Shaila Durcal, Aida Cuevas, and Mariachi De Mi Tierra Juan Gabriel.

As for the nominees, Yandel and Banda Sinaloense MS de Sergio Lizarraga lead with six nods each but only ended winning one and two awards respectively. Nicky Jam and Enrique Iglesias followed closely with five nominations, and although Nicky Jam went home empty handed, Enrique won in all five categories. Prince Royce won two awards, including Favorite Tropical Artist, and CNCO also won two, including New Artist of the Year. Check out below for the full list of tonight’s winners!
