Lauren Bacall has died at the age of 89 following a massive stroke. The actress from Hollywood Golden Age had the heart failure Tuesday morning in her home. One of her most memorable roles is in "The Big Sleep" in which she starred alongside Humphrey Bogart, whom she later married. They both went on to star in movies like "Designing Women," "How To Marry a Millionaire" and "The Mirror Has Two Faces." With this last film she was nominated for Academy Award in 1997, but lost out to Juliette Binoche for "The English Patient." Despite her career in movies, that was the only time she was nominated at the Oscars. In 2009, she received an Honorary Academy award with her outstanding body of work.

Bacall and Bogart were together until his death in 1957. She later married Jason Robards in 1961, but divorced in 1969 due to his alcoholism. Lauren Bacall had three children: Stephen Humphrey Bogart and Leslie Bogart from her first married and Sam Robards from her second married. Lauren's last credited appearance was in a 2014 episode of "Family Guy" where she lent her voice to Evelyn, as a friend of Peter Griffin's mother.
