Legend of Korra
"The Legend of Korra" season four predictions and speculations. Nick

"The Legend of Korra" season four has an official release date! Co-creators Michael DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko have revealed that the next season of the hit-animated show will arrive on Nickelodeon's website Oct. 3! The release is a surprise to many as season three just wrapped up a few weeks ago on Aug. 22.

With season four being the final season of "The Legend of Korra" there is so much that can happen and will happen! Season four, titled "Book Four: Balance," has the opportunity to wrap up not only Korra's story but the legacy that is the Avatar. Many have speculated on what we will see in the upcoming season and it got us wondering what could happen in "Balance." Check out these top predictions and speculations of what Korra fans can see when the fourth season arrives this fall.

  1. Korra has lost her powers. She is no longer the Avatar and now she must find a way to bring balance to the world without her bending.
  2. Jinora is the focus and is now an active member of team Avatar fighting alongside Asami, Mako, Bolin and Korra.
  3. She will fly! She will become more spiritual and let go of earthy tethers and become weightless and fly using her airbending.
  4. Kuvira the metalbending member of the Metal Clan in Zaofu is a villain. Perhaps she is already a member of the Red Lotus and will be associated with the antagonist of "Book Four: Balance."
  5. Some have speculated that Kuvira is the daughter or a relative of Zaheer, the villain of "Book Three: Change."
  6. Toph will return! It was said in season three that she left Zaofu to travel the world and no one has seen her since. It is unclear if she is alive or dead but her return would be something we'd see in Korra.
  7. The Avatar line will end in the final season of "The Legend of Korra." She has already lost the connection with her past lives and I believe the Avatar line will end with her. Though the Avatar will be gone the spirit of the Avatar will live on in people like Mako, Bolin and Jinora.
