Barcelona star forward Lionel Messi threw up just nine minutes into the friendly Argentina played vs Romania. It is the third time in three years this has happened to him. Could this be something to worry about? The fact that it’s not the first time it happens could bring some worries to the team, but at least he stayed in the game, that is the most important thing. There was no previous report of him being sick before the game. But in spite of throwing up, he stayed on the field and played the whole game. He wasn’t as involved as he usually is but at least he stood up for his team.

This same thing happened to him a couple of months ago in a Barcelona game in 2011 and after that he scored a goal, and also another time before when Argentina visited Bolivia, but that time we could say it was because of the altitude.

Argentina vs Romania friendly ended up in a tie 0-0. Argentina shares a spot in group F along with Bosnia, Iran and Nigeria. What will happen next to Messi? Will he throw up again or will he stop this yearly tradition? Let’s wish him the best and just hope he controls what he eats next time. Here is a video of Messi throwing up.
