‘Lo Que La Vida Me Robó’ Univision Spoilers: When Does Angélica Die? Will José Luis Get Back With Montserrat?

One primetime telenovela on Univisión is constantly moving forward and making changes keeping viewers glued to their television sets. That melodrama is "Lo Que La Vida Me Robó" which stars Angelique Boyer as Montserrat, Sebastián Rulli as Alejandro Almonte and Luis Roberto Guzmán as José Luis. There is a key character in the storyline that has been battling with terminal cancer since the beginning and that is Angélica who is portrayed by Ilithya Manzanilla. Angélica is a kind young woman that falls in love with José Luis and wants to live her last days happily and in peace. She marries José Luis but has to battle her parents as they believe he is only in it for her money. Deep inside José Luis has developed feelings for Angélica and only wants to see all her dreams fulfilled, even though he is still in love with Montserrat. Angélica knows that this is the case, and doesn't mind it.

Angélica and Montserrat develop a friendship with the latter helping them out in carrying their relationship in secret during the initial stages. When Montserrat gets pregnant, Angélica volunteers herself and her husband to be godparents to her child. This seemed a little strange as Angélica is well aware that Montserrat and José Luis lived a torrid romance. She explains to them that it's because she knows there is a strong bond between them that no one can break, and even though they have moved on, she knows they will always find a way to be together. Angélica knows that José Luis is an integral part of Montserrat's life and vice-versa and wants them to always have a tie. Alejandro accepts the proposal. Angélica had a heart of gold and soon befriended Esmeralda (Margarita Magaña) who worked at the towns tavern. She soon bought it for her so she could be proud of herself and grow a business. Soon after she planned Esmeralda's wedding with Refugio (Carlos de la Mota) as she wanted to see her friend get married before she died.

We all knew it was going to happen and we all knew it was going to be a sad event. Spoiler Alert! Spoiler Alert! Angélica finally dies on Episode 107 after her health deteriorates. One of her last wishes was to speak to Montserrat, which José Luis refused to, but agreed on the last minute. Angélica made Montserrat and José Luis reconcile in front of her. She later spoke to Montserrat privately and told her to make sure José Luis ends up happy, with a woman that will give him a family. Angélica wants Montserrat to be part of his life after she dies and not to abandon him. She reiterates that she wanted to be the godparents of Montserrat's baby, in case something ever happened to Alejandro, they would have each other as support. Her last moments were in bed with her husband José Luis. She asked for a kiss and cuddle, she opened her eyes, looked around and seemed to be happy with the life she led. It was a truly sad scene that you will not want to miss. "Lo Que La Vida Me Robó" airs Monday through Friday at 9pm/8c on Univisión.
