Colombian superstar Shakira heads the list of winners on "Los 40 Music Awards," celebrated at the Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona.

Shakira, who recently launched her new music video for "Chantaje" featuring Colombian singer Maluma, received the 'Golden Award' honor as the most successful Latin female artist of all time.

The famous Top Music Latino Chart honored Shakira, including her on the list of winners for the most important grant of the night. During the ceremony, other artists like Juanes, Maná and Miguel Bosé received Golden Awards for their accomplishments in the Latino entertainment industry.

Shakira's appearance was awaited after her performance at the last Latin Grammy Awards was cancelled a week before due to her son's health problems, according to her publicist.

Another winners on this music celebration, created by "Los 40 Principales," were Colombian group Morat as "Breaking artist of the year," Daniel Martin, for the "Best Music Video of the Year," and this time the "Recording of the year" was given to Justin Bieber for "Purpose."
