Thanksgiving isn't Thanksgiving without the annual Macy's Parade in New York City. Each year, thousands of people come together to watch the parade in New York City while millions catch the parade on their television screens. The show is filled with floats, balloons, clowns and more as the parade takes its course through the 2.5-mile stretch. The Macy's Day Parade 2013 is being held on Nov. 28 and will air on NBC from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Check back to Latin Times for a live stream of the parade, which will be three hours long. This year, the 87th annual parade, the Macy's Day Parade will be hosted by NBC Today show's Matt Lauer Al Roker and Savannah Guthrie.

If you want to know about the route of the parade, then know that the Macy's Day Parade 2013 will start from 77th Street and Central Park West in the wee early hours of 9 a.m. The parade will go to Columbus Circle through Central Park West and turn on 6th avenue and Central Park South. The parade will continue down 6th ave until 34th street where the end up at Macy's Herald Square. As for the performers, this year will include a whole slew of celebrity performers and guest appearances. The list includes: Kellie Pickler, Lady Antebellum, Ariana Grande, Austin Mahone, Miss America 2014 Nina Davuluri, Cher Lloyd, Gavin Degraw, Fifth Harmony, Fall Out Boy, Kristen Chinoweth, Carrie Underwood, and Florida Georgia Line. This year's balloons will include: Hello Kitty, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Spider Man, Ronald McDonald, Pillsbury Doughboy, Pikachu, Buzz Lightyear, Smurf, Spongebob and more. As for floats, there will be Santa's Sleigh, True Spirit of Thanksgiving, Winter Wonderland in Central Park, and the controversial float from Sea World.
