Marjorie De Sousa has been in the news lately since she co-hosted Premios TVyNovelas 2016, joined the "Sueño De Amor" telenovela cast and got involed in a rumor about having an affair with Gabriel Soto.

We know De Sousa as the actress from telenovelas like "Hasta El Fin Del Mundo," "Amores Verdaderos," "Gata Salvaje" and many more. The Venezuelan beauty is celebrating her birthday on April 23 as she turns 36.

Marjorie De Sousa recently addressed the rumors about the alleged affair she was having with Gabriel Soto. “I’m not that stupid, please! I have no need to go with a married man to a public beach and mess around," she said.

"People’s insults are not pretty, but you know what? I always say something good must be coming my way, maybe something bigger, which is why this is happening. God is making me stronger, and He is up there looking down, and He knows exactly how things are.”

Marjorie also added, "I really think you should look at yourself before judging someone else, because there are many things behind a person, so sometimes it’s best to stay quiet. I still love you very much and thank you for being there for me."

Marjorie De Sousa was announced to join the "Sueño De Amor" cast this week. The Juan Osorio production has been struggling with ratings, and it was confirmed when Univision moved it out of primetime and swapped it with "Un Camino Hacia El Destino."

De Sousa will be playing a character called Cristina Vélez who is described as a woman with a shocking personality, educated and noble. Cristina Vélez will join Instituto Palacios with the challenge of restoring order to the education system.

According to an official statement from Televisa, Marjorie said that she was honored and happy to be part of the telenovela and was grateful to the producer for allowing her to work with him and his great team.
