"China: Through The Looking Glass" is the theme of the year with Jennifer Lawrence announced as celebrity co-chair at the event. The gala will feature rare artifacts from China and designs from Tom Ford, Alexander McQueen, John Galliano's take on the Chinese culture. Behind this fiesta is Anna Wintour, that is why this is not only known as the Met Ball, but Anna Wintour's party.
