Silvia Navarro Lands "Mi Corazón Es Tuyo' Lead
The actress of telenovelas like "Amor Bravío" and "Cuando Seas Mía" returns to the genre later this year in an adaptation of the Spanish hit series "Ana y Los 7." Twitter/MiCorazonTuyoTV

Silvia Navarro has been confirmed as the lead actress of Juan Osorio's new production "Mi Corazón Es Tuyo." Navarro will play Ana, an exotic dancer who faces a tough economic situation and accepts a job as a nanny at a luxurious mansion. In this mansion, a widower man, his 7 children, the butler and the cook. The children are from college age all the way down to the youngest tike that stopped speaking when her mother died and the one that is closest to Ana. Based on the Spanish series "Ana y Los 7" the Mexican media was scheduled at a pole dance school to presence the announcement and keep in touch with the main theme of the lead character.

For the lead role names like Ninel Conde, Mayrín Villanueva and Blanca Soto were shuffled but it was ultimately Navarro that landed the part. The actress is now working with a professional dancer to make her on-screen persona more credible. This is the first time Silvia will dive in a comedic character and it is something completely new for her. Earlier this year, in an interview with Javier Poza, the actress said to be excited for the possibility of doing something different on the small screen. Although she didn't mention what project or what producer had called her, it was belived it was for this telenovela as it was the only comedy casting. Altair Jarabo, Carmen Salinas, Rene Casados, Fabiola Campomanes, Adrián Uribe are also set to appear.

Silvia Navarro has had a long and succesful career in the telenovela genre with her starts in soaps like "Catalina y Sebastián" and "Perla." One of her most famous roles was Paloma on the "Café Con Aroma De Mujer" Mexican adaptation titled "Cuando Seas Mía." She later jumped ship to Televisa where she landed the starring role in "Mañana Es Para Siempre" opposite Fernando Colunga and Lucero. After those projects she was seen in "Cuando Me Enamoro" and "Amor Bravío." At the conclusion of the latter her contract with the major network ended and she is now a free agent. Earlier last year she attended a casting call for "La Tempestad," which ultimately went to Ximena Navarrete and there was buzz early this year she would star in "La Malquerida." With Silvia Navarro landing the Ana role, now the producer will have a better idea on who to choose as her leading man, which will be announced at a later time.
