A week ahead of Mother's Day, Apple has launched a brand new ad centered around moms. The 30-second commercial shows a collection of still images and videos of mothers interacting with their children all over the globe to the song "Because You Are Who You Are" by K.S. Rhoads.

The clip continues Apple's "Shot on iPhone" advertising campaign, with each piece captioned by the amateur iPhone user who took the shot or captured the video.

The videos description reads: "Celebrating motherhood through the lens of iPhone users around the world."

Check out the all-new emotional "Shot on iPhone" ad below:

The "Shot on iPhone" ad campaign began in early 2015 and is meant to reinforce camera quality as one of the key selling points of the iPhone (in this case the iPhone 6 and 6s). While the competitions smartphones have caught up in photography, Apple and its iPhone lineup have consistently ranked high in the photo test among users and reviewers.

The campaign has showcased images collected from both professional photographers and amateurs around the world. More recently though, Apple's iPhone campaign has focused on portraying the features of the smartphone such as the Touch ID and Siri.

Earlier this year the company rebooted the "Shot on iPhone" campaign for the release of the iPhone 6s device. Before the reboot the ads featured more professional photographs and more landscape views. This year, however, the campaign features a lot more amateur pictures and these pictures tend to be more of portrait images.

According to TechnoBuffalo, Apple has already picked up one of the top prizes at the Cannes Grand Prix festival for the "Shot on iPhone" campaign and given that the company has focused on making the iPhone's camera top notch, users can expect to see more "Shot on iPhone" ads.
