It's raining in Los Angeles, but that did not stop the stars to come out for the MTV Movie & TV Awards 2017. This year, the cable network added categories to celebrate television as well as film. The event will be held at the Shrine Auditorium and will go live starting at 8pm/7c on MTV. Before the main show, the big celebrities walked down the red carpet to showcase their style. Some of the big performances of the night are Pitbull, J Balvin and Camila Cabello with their song from "The Fast & The Furios," "Hey Ma." Other musical numbers include Noah Cyrus with "Stay Together" and Big Sean with "Jump Out The Window."
Presenters during the night include Tom Holland, who will be presenting a new clip from the upcoming movine "Spider-Man: Homecoming." Other stars who will appear during the night are John Cena, Alexandra Daddario, Dane Dehaan, Cara Delevingne, Asia Kate Dillon, Snoop Dogg, Tommy Dorfman, Devin Druid, Ansel Elgort, Zac Efron, Brandon Flynn, Gal Gadot, Goldie Hawn, Miles Heizer, Lil Rey Howery and Aaron Taylor-Johnson.
Confirmed to also appear at the MTV stage are DJ Khaled, Brandon Larracuente, Katherine Langford, Chrissy Metz, Dylan Minnette, Shay Mitchell, Justin Prentice, Amy Schumer, Steven Silver, Hailee Steinfeld, Martha Stewart, Milo Ventimiglia, Mark Wahlberg, Maxine Walters and Allison Williams.
The top award in the movies category is Movie Of The Year where the following are competing for the accolade: Beauty and the Beast, Get Out, Logan, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and The Edge of Seventeen. In the television category the top award is Show Of The year with the following shows competing: Atlanta, Game of Thrones, Insecure, Pretty Little Liars, Stranger Things and This Is Us.
