The Philadelphia Eagles have almost equaled their win total from last season already, and a big reason for that is because of rookie quarterback Carson Wentz. Wentz is playing great this season with nine touchdowns and five interceptions, and he, among others, are in the running for Offensive Rookie of The Year.

The Eagles have a big game against the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday, and Russell Wilson had some strong words to say about the No. 2 overall draft pick.

"I've been fortunate to watch Carson this past year and see a few of his games and he's playing great football and he's going to be a great football player for a long time. He's athletic, he can make all the throws, he's a smart guy, he's competitive. I have a lot of respect for him. He's a great football player. You guys have a good one in him," Wilson said.

Wilson knows a thing or two about being an athletic quarterback. He’s one of the best dual threat quarterbacks in the league, and Wentz has done a good job this year at making plays with his feet. Unfortunately, the Eagles are in a bit of a slump lately as they have lost four of their last six games.

As previously stated, Wentz and the Eagles take on the Seahawks this weekend. Considering the Seahawks have the best secondary in the league, Wentz will need to not only make wise throws, but he’ll have to make plays with his feet in order for the Eagles to pull off an upset victory in Seattle.

The Seahawks have won four of their last five games against the Eagles.
