"Octomom" Nadya Suleman, the raven-haired temptress who stole America's hearts with her ability to procreate like a feline, has been chosen as People magazine's Most Admirable Mom. Just kidding. She's broke, again, and back on welfare, according to numerous reports.

The mom who famously conceived her set of octuplets and older children via in vitro fertilization is strapped for cash, unable to pay her bills and is back on welfare, according to TMZ.

It was only five months ago that Suleman announced she'd finally pulled her finances out of the gutter, gotten off welfare and that her financial situation was improving overall. The secret behind Octomom's restored financial health was a source of national criticism and controversy, though, as Suleman involved herself in various sexualized money-making schemes, including stripping and releasing a pornographic movie to pay the bills, something the mother of 14 swore she would never do. Suleman had previously claimed that she would never stoop to the level of adult entertainment as a means to support her large family. Of course, considering she's moved more and more into that direction over the past year, she's clearly changed her mind.

While it looked like Suleman had successfully improved her financial situation following some large pay outs from her work, TMZ now reports that as of Jan. 6 the Octomom is somehow already back on welfare. According to TMZ, Suleman will receive $1,800 a month to spend on food, plus another $1,000 for emergency cash.

According to the New York Daily News, Suleman ran through her funds quickly last fall, depleting her bank accounts at lightning speed after she entered herself into rehab at the Chapman Treatment Center for "anxiety, exhaustion and stress" in October 2012.

"She was prescribed Xanax for her anxiety attacks. She was not addicted to it. She has an overabundance of stress and exhaustion and wanted to deal with it without prescription drugs," her manager, Gina Rodriguez, told the Daily News at the time.

Suleman came under fire last summer, sparking debate after she made her debut as a stripper at a Florida gentleman's club. Many criticized her, suggesting the move was emblematic of her downward moral spiral. Of course, harsh criticism of her moral code is nothing new for Suleman.

"I'd be lying if I didn't say generating revenue wasn't a major reason why I did it, but I found the experience was empowering and liberating," Suleman told the Huffington Post in June.

The single mom has long been a source of debate for having the IVF treatment that produced her brood of 14 despite not being married, having a job, or having a means of supporting them.
