OnePlus One
OnePlus Two price, features and details revealed. OnePlus One

The OnePlus Two is probably one of the most anticipated Android devices of the year. With several improvements compared to its predecessor, the OnePlus One, the OnePlus Two should be a force to be reckoned with. As such these improvements have led customers and analyst to expect a much higher price for the OnePlus Two compared to the original launch price of only $299 for the 16GB model.

Until now the OnePlus Two has been estimated to carry the hefty price tag of over $500 however, OnePlus posted to its official Google+ account confirming that the price of the new device will not reach that.

"I can promise that the OnePlus 2 will be priced under $450," said OnePlus CEO Pete Lau. "Honestly, it's never been about the price. We simply make the best smartphones we can, and we go from there."

Previous reports confirmed that the OnePlus Two will have a price that is higher than $322 and with this latest bit of information we now have a price range for the smartphone. Our money says it'll be priced at $350. We won't know until the phone is released but until then check out these other details and features.

1. OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei squashed earlier rumors that the OnePlus Two smartphone will release in summer. He stated that the device will be launched in the third quarter of 2015, with no precise release date revealed.

2. It has been revealed that the OnePlus Two will ship with OxygenOS, which is based on Android's 5.1 Lollipop.

3. Recent reports confirm that the smartphone will be powered by a version of Qualcomm's Snapdragon 810 processor. The device will be the first flagship of any manufacturer to include a USB Type-C port, and will also be including a fingerprint scanner that is said to be easier than Apple's Touch ID.

4. OnePlus has kept the Two under wraps but a tipster has made some credible claims about the device. The tipster said the smartphone will have a 5.5-inch to 5.7-inch display, which would make it as big or slightly larger than the current OnePlus One.

5. The device will be launched by the company through a virtual reality event on July 27, which will be the first of its kind ever held.
