Good news "Orphan Black" fans! Over the weekend BBC America officially announced the "Orphan Black" season two air date! No longer will we have to wait to see Allison, Sarah, Rachel and Cosima! "Orphan Black" season two will premiere this spring, April 19, 2014 to be exact. The "Orphan Black" season two gifts just keep on giving. Not only was the air date announced but so was a first look video at season two (which can be seen below) and the official synopsis for the upcoming season.
The official synopsis, according to Hypable, for "Orphan Black" season two reads: Season 2 hits the ground running with Sarah in a desperate race to find her missing daughter Kira (Skyler Wexler, Alphas). Her scorched earth tactics spark a war with pro-clone, Rachel (Maslany), dividing and imperiling all the clones. As Sarah discovers more about her past, mysterious newcomers appear, but can they be trusted?
If you have been living under a rock and don't know what "Orphan Black" is, let us enlighten you. "Orphan Black" follows Sarah Manning (Tatiana Maslany), an orphan turned street hustler and con-artist, who finds a young woman who looks identical to her to only witness the young woman commit suicide right in front of her eyes. To find more answers Sarah steals the woman's bag and discovers a realm of secrets in her search for the truth.
Earlier this year it was revealed that season two will see three new characters! There were also many other secrets revealed at this years Comic-Con.
