"La La Land" was announced as the winner of the Best Picture category at the Oscars 2017, but that was a mistake on organizers as "Moonlight" was the actual winner. The moment quickly went viral with people on the web poking fun at the goof that was made on live television. Twitters users quickly reacted remembering Steve Harvey's mistake at the Miss Universe 2015 beauty pageant. See the funniest memes down below and tell us what you think!

There was a damper as the Oscars 2017 wrapped up the show with the Best Picture category. Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway presented the last award of the night and made a huge mistake that put a whimper on the winner. They announced "La La Land" as the winner, but in reality it was "Moonlight" the top film of the evening. Beatty explained that he was given the wrong envelope that read "Emma Stone for "La La Land." He looked at Faye and she read "La La Land," but that was the envelope for Best Lead Actress. "La La Land" producer then showed the card that revealed "Moonlight" as the winner.

Another viral moment of the night was when Gael García Bernal presented alongside Hailee Steinfeld the Best Animated Feature at the Oscars 2017, but before announcing the nominees he made a powerful statement. "Flesh and blood actors are migrant workers," he said. "We travel all over the world, we build families, we construct stories, we build life that cannot be divided, as a Mexican as a Latin American, as a migrant worker, as a human being, I am against any form of all that wants to separate us."
