Oscars 2017 Looks Breakdown: Steps To Get Olivia Culpo, Emma Stone Hair, Makeup [PHOTOS]

Suicide Squad might be the Academy Award winner for Best Makeup and Hair Styling, but it's for sure that Emma Stone and Olivia Culpo were the ones turning heads during the Oscars 2017 Red Carpet.

L'Oréal Paris Celebrity Makeup Artist Sir John, and L’Oréal Paris Celebrity Hairstylist Mara Roszak shared with us a breakdown glimpse of the beauty trends. Using L'Oréal Paris products, the pair -inspired in the Old Hollywood glam- created easy-to-follow looks you can totally recreate.

Emma Stone, who won as Best Actress for La La Land, rocked waterfall waves, while Olivia Culpo, who wore a Marchesa gown made from the Stella Artois Limited-Edition Chalices, looks stunning with a makeup perfect for Spring.

ARTIST : Sir John, L'Oréal Paris Celebrity Makeup Artist

INSPIRATION : "We decided to go for a lavender wash on the eyes, nude lips and glowing skin to complement Olivia's vintage-inspired dress. I would call this look Ice Princess meets 'Great Gatsby'."

STEP-BY-STEP

1. To prep Olivia's skin, Sir John used L'Oréal Paris Hydra Genius Moisturizer . Then, for her complexion he applied L'Oréal Paris Infallible Pro-Glow Foundation with the L'Oréal Paris Infallible Blend Artist Foundation Blender. Next, for contour he used the L'Oréal Paris Infallible Total Cover Concealing and Contour Kit.
2. Sir John then took the L'Oréal Paris Infallible Paints Blush Kit and applied the lighter shade to Olivia's cheeks.
3. Next, Sir John applied L'Oréal Paris True Match Lumi Liquid Illuminator in both Golden and Ice ($12.99 each) to the high planes of Olivia's cheekbones, the bridge of her nose and a little on her Cupid's bow. He also applied L'Oréal Paris True Match Lumi Liquid Illuminator in both Rose and Golden on Olivia's collarbones and arms to give her skin a beautiful glow.
4. For Olivia's brows, Sir John used the L'Oréal Paris Brow Stylist Frame and Set in Warm Brunette, brushing the brows upwards.
5. Then for Olivia's eyes, Sir John created a washed lavender look using L'Oréal Paris Infallible Paints Eye Shadow in Shady Violet and L'Oréal Paris Colour Riche Pocket Palette in Violet Amour. He applied the purple/lavender colors around Olivia's entire eye, applying the lighter shade of the Infallible Paints Shadow to under Olivia's bottom lash line.
6. To make the look pop and add punctuation, Sir John added generous coasts of L'Oréal Paris Voluminous Feline Noir Mascara to Olivia's top and bottom lashes.
7. For her lips, Sir John first applied L'Oréal Paris Colour Riche Lip Liner in Au Naturale all over the lip. Then, on top he applied L'Oréal Paris Infallible Pro-Matte Gloss in Bare Attraction.
8. To finish the look, Sir John set Olivia's makeup with the L'Oréal Paris Infallible Pro-Spray & Set Makeup Setting Spray.

HAIRSTYLIST : Mara Roszak, L’Oréal Paris Celebrity Hairstylist

INSPIRATION : “The dress has a beautiful long silhouette and overall 40’s ‘goddess’ feel. To complement the dress, I made the hair feel brushed out with a very soft, dreamy wave.”

STEP-BY-STEP

1. To start, Mara prepped Emma’s damp hair with L'Oréal Paris Advanced Hairstyle BOOST IT Inject Volume Mousse all over and parted the hair to the side.

2. Next, she blow-dried Emma’s hair with the Dyson Supersonic Hair Dryer using a round brush to create a soft base.

3. Then, using a one-inch curling iron, Mara waved everything away from Emma’s face and sprayed all over with L'Oréal Paris Elnett Satin Hairspray. She then let the curls sit for a few minutes.

4. With a soft bristle brush and her hands, the hairstylist carefully brushed out the waves, while still maintaining the shape of the curl.

5. Mara then sprayed L'Oréal Paris Boost It High Lift Creation Spray all around to open up the waves and create more volume.

6. Next, Mara brushed the waves a little more to keep everything fluffy and dreamy feeling.

7. Last, she finished by spraying L'Oréal Paris Elnett Satin Hairspray all over to set hair in place.
