Eddie "Piolin" Sotelo was fired from Univision less than a month ago over sexual harassment allegations made by Beto Cortez, and the radio presenter has already scored a new gig. SiriusXM has announced "Piolin Radio" a new entertainment channel anchored by "Piolin's" morning-drive show, "El Show de Piolin."

"I am honored SiriusXM believes in me. As I tell my listeners, ‘We came to succeed.’ And now, as we step up to a new level, I will be doing that on the biggest radio platform possible," "Piolin" said in a statement. "I can’t wait to fly free and for the first time be truly available coast-to-coast. I am excited that my listeners will be able to tune in to Piolín Radio at home, in the car or anywhere mobile. I am looking forward to reconnecting with my fans and reaching out to new listeners everywhere across the country."

The show will be similar to the syndicated program he hosted on the Univision radio network. It is described as a "live, four-hour call-in show" that will include lively discussion of the day's events, surprise interviews with celebrity guests, listener call-ins, pranks, music and much more. With his previous show, Sotelo interviewed guests like President Barack Obama, FLOTUS Michelle Obama, Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto, Jennifer Lopez, Pitbull, Vicente Fernandez, Will Smith and many other notable high profile celebrities.

SiriusXM has not set an official launch date but has announced that it will be available later this year. The channel will join other Spanish-language programming like CNN en Español ESPN Deportes, RadioFórmula México and a channel by Spanish talkshow queen, Cristina Saralegui.
