Some say you don’t want to be on Pitbull’s bad side, and if that is the case, Oakley Eyewear Company has a bit of a problem on their hands: the Miami native rapper has sued the company for creating a line of sunglasses and calling them ‘Pit Bull’ in two words, which also doesn’t sit well with the singer. Oakley, however, did sponsor Pitbull’s tour in 2009, during which he wore their sunglasses, of course, but the rapper says he’s had no connection with the brand ever since; in fact, he has his own glass and sunglass line called “Pitbull Dale Sunglasses.”

According to TMZ, Armando Perez, which is the rappers real name, he assures in the lawsuit that the company is targeting his fans and that it’s no coincidence that Oakley is still using his name more than six years later. He blasted the company for using his “Pitbull” trademark, even though the brand split it up in two words. The star not only wants the company to stop selling the merchandise, but he wants a piece of the earnings from the line. We hope both parties can move on from this misunderstanding and move on to better and more fun things soon.
