The Latin Music Billboard Awards aired live on Telemundo Thursday night. Check out who were the big winners of the night below. Reuters

It was a great night! Telemundo promised us an exciting show and they didn’t fall short. The Billboard Latin Music Awards or Premios Billboard for us Latinos, one of the biggest nights in Latin Music, were full of surprises, amazing performers and big winners.

The ceremony, which was presented by State Farm, started with the “White Carpet,” where we saw the most influential, most talented, most beautiful artists in the Latin Music industry.

Hosted by Pedro Fernández and Gaby Espino, the night opened with a mix of performances by Marc Anthony joined by Gente de Zona, Gerardo Ortiz, and Nicky Jam. Other amazing performances included: Natalia Jiménez, Julión Álvarez y su Norteño Banda, Alejandro Sanz, returning to the stage after 3 years of absence.

The night continued with more Latino artists of international caliber delighting the audience such as, Daddy Yankee, Roberto Carlos who performed some of his greatest hits, and Ne-Yo, Luis Fonsi and Afrojack introduced EDM to the Latin Billboard stage.

The host of the night, Pedro Fernández, also had an opportunity to grace the stage. Wisin, Daddy Yankee and Carlos Vives entertained the public with their new song. Colombian Urban performer, J Balvin, proved why he won the “Artista del Año Debut” award. “El Rey de la Bachata,” Romeo Santos was one more of the great artists to get on the Premios Billboard stage. Juanes and Carlos Santana joined forces in an amazing performance filled with awesome guitar solos. Belinda closed the night performing next to Juan Magán y El Lapiz Conciente.

Among the big surprises of the night were: an outstanding tribute to the “Queen of Tejano” Selena Quintanilla performed by Jennifer Lopez & Los Dinos, and Ana Gabriel and Lucero singing together for the first time on stage.
