Telemundo's summer bash is right around the corner with Premios Tu Mundo 2014 and the network has just confirmed the musical acts that will grace the stage. Lucero will make her triumphant debut on Univision's rival taking over the American Airlines Arena in Miami. The succesful singer and actress recently signed a deal to host Telemundo's new reality show "Yo Soy El Artista." Other performers for the night include "La Voz Kids" coach Natalia Jimenez, corrido front man Gerardo Ortiz and the legendary musical band Los Tucanes de Tijuana. The celebration gives the voting power to the fans that watch and live entertainment and will vote in a variety of categories that include celebrities in telenovelas, music and sport. Gaby Espino and Aaron Díaz have been confirmed to host the gala for a second consecutive year. The pair were the lead couple of "Santa Diabla" which was nominated for various accolades. The 3rd Annual Premios Tu Mundo ceremony will take place on August 21 starting at 8pm ET/PT on Telemundo.
Mundo will also feature as presenters, beloved TV personalities Monica Noguera, Raúl Gonzalez, and Yarel Ramos, Aylin Mujica ("Los Miserables"), Blanca Soto ("Señora Acero"), Carmen Villalobos ("El Señor de los Cielos"), David Chocarro ("En Otra Piel"), Juan Soler ("Reina de Corazones"), Mauricio Ochmann ("El Señor de los Cielos"), Rafael Amaya ("El Señor de los Cielos") and Ricardo Chavez ("Marido De Alquiler") and host of popular Telemundo show "Caso Cerrado," Dr. Ana Maria Polo. One of the most popular categories of the night is the award that goes to Telenovela of The Year. All of the Telemundo original productions have been nominated. The accolade will be contended between "Camelia La Texana," "El Señor De Los Cielos 2," "La Impostora," "Santa Diabla," "Dama y Obrero," "En Otra Piel" and "Marido En Alquiler." In the Male Lead Actor category Aaron Díaz, Erik Hayser, José Luis Resendez, Rafael Amaya, David Chocarro, Jorge Luis Pila, Juan Soler and Sebastián Zurita will all be fighting for your votes to take home the prize.
The ladies will also have a shot of winning an award with Carmen Villalobos, Laura Flores, María Elisa Camargo, Sonya Smith, Gaby Espino, Lisette Morelos, Sara Maldonado and Ximena Herrera. In the Favorite Pop Artist category the following are nominated: Alejandra Guzmán, Chayanne, Enrique Iglesia,s Luis Fonsi, Belinda, David Bisbal, Gloria Trevi and Shakira.
