Premios TVyNovelas 2014 Winners List: ‘Amores Verdaderos' Triumphs As Best Telenovela Of The Year

Tonight is the night that the best of the Televisa telenovela will be awarded during the live ceremony of Premios TVyNovelas 2014! Some of the most celebrated stars in television are set to appear including Erika Buenfil, Sebastián Rulli, Ana Brenda Contreras, Marjorie De Sousa and Daniel Arenas. The fashion, the glitz, the glamour will shine brightin this evening of stars and one of the most anticipated nights of the year. Five telenovelas will be competing for the top accolade as Best Telenovela: "Amores Verdaderos," "Mentir Para Vivir," "Corazón Indomable," "Porque El Amor Manda" and "De Que Te Quiero, Te Quiero." This year there are nine productions that made the cut and are nominated in different categories and those telenovelas are: "Amores Verdaderos," "Mentir Para Vivir," "Corazón Indomable," "Porque El Amor Manda," "La Tempestad," "De Que Te Quiero, Te Quiero," "La Mujer Del Vendaval," "Que Bonito Amor" and "Libre Para Amarte." The most nominated telenovela of the night is "Mentir Para Vivir" with 14 nominations, closely followed by "Amores Verdaderos" with 13. Another very competitive category are the Best Lead Actress category with Ana Brenda, Mayrín Villanueva, Erika Buenfil and Blanca Sotohoping to take home the prize. In the Best Lead Actor category Sebastián Rulli, Juan Diego Covarrubias, David Zepeda and Daniel Arenas will be vying for that accolade.

Premios TVyNovelas 2014 will reveal the winners of the night live with a panel of experts on the scene picking the most deserving to take home the prize. The mechanic seems to be taken out of a page of a reality show and degrades what is supposed to be the most prestigious night in television, but it is a way to make things more transparent and show the audience that the winners are not pre-determined as it is widely speculated.
