PLL Season 5
"Pretty Little Liars" Season 5 will premiere on June 10! ABC Family

“Pretty Little Liars” is returning for Season 5 and with the new season comes a milestone episode for ABC Family’s trademark series, the 100th episode! The major TV achievement will be celebrated by “Pretty Little Liars” during episode 5 of Season 5, and considering its set to be the biggest episode of the mystery series yet, fans are groveling for details and even spoilers! While the plot of the 100th episode is still somewhat ambiguous, we did receive one major clue— the title. “Pretty Little Liars” 100th episode will be titled “Miss Me x 100” and despite the show’s normally puzzling episode titles, this time the clue is pretty obvious!

The “Miss Me x 100” episode title was revealed by none other than Tammin Sursok, who plays the Liars nearly constant nemesis Jenna Marshall. The actress tweeted a photo of the “Pretty Little Liars” script with the caption, “Oh what's this?! Oh ya know... Just the 100th episode and #Jenna's return #PLL.” So with Jenna’s return on the horizon and rumors swirling of other not-so friendly faces returning to Rosewood for Season 5, (we are looking at you Lucas) fans should prepare themselves for multiple cameos in episode 5. Similar to the Season 4 finale “A is for Answers,” the 100th episode “Miss Me x 100” will most likely feature of several supporting cast members, including Jenna, Lucas, Noel Kahn, Toby who have all been confirmed. Also set to return for Season 5 is Caleb, who, after his blatantly unsuccessful (sorry Marlene) hiatus on the spin off series “Ravenswood” will be coming back home to Rosewood and of course Hanna Marin.

While the episode title most certainly implies that multiple characters will be popping up in Rosewood, fans can also expect these character to react to Alison’s sudden return and after allegedly being dead for nearly 2 years, some residents will certainly have notable reactions. “Miss me?” is such an Alison line, and when combined with “x 100” and it being “Pretty Little Liars” 100th episode, fans should expect some pretty major reveals. This episode will most certainly require a typical Rosewood High event, that for some reason the entire town attends, Alison included, it will be interesting to see the newly “exhumed” queen bee attempt to navigate her abandoned landscape. In addition to the extreme tension Alison’s presence will cause for the Liars, show runner Marlene King revealed the 100th episode of “Pretty Little Liars” will feature a serious secret divulged.

King told Alloy Entertainment, “I can tease that in our fifth episode, which is our 100th episode, a very big mystery will be solved. It will ask more questions, of course, but you will get closer to a mystery that PLLs have been talking about for one or two seasons.” While no word has been leaked about the major mystery solved, the tiny clues Marlene provided does allow fans to narrow down a list of possible reveals.

There are only five reals possibilities, starting with the identity of Wilden’s killer being revealed, the next viable possibility is the exposure of Toby’s mom’s history. The third possible reveal is the identity of Beach Hottie. Fans discovered that Ezra was, in fact, Board Shorts in Season 4, so it seems only logical that the Beach Hottie will also be exposed. Another growing mystery is the idea that Mrs. DiLaurentis has a twin or that someone in Rosewood has an evil twin. First fans suspected that Ali had a twin like in the “Pretty Little Liars” novel series, but later the focus shifted to the likelihood that Mrs. D had a twin. Finally the last big mystery that has never been fully developed on “Pretty Little Liars” is Radley. What is Radley’s deal, and what is this place hiding? Everything weird that happens in Rosewood somehow leads back to Radley. Fans have known that this establishment is harboring mysteries, so maybe the whole house of cards will just come crumbling down in the 100th episode!
