‘Pretty Little Liars’ Season 5 Spoilers: Alison Is Back In Rosewood But ‘A’ Is Still Present

Season 4 of “Pretty Little Liars” still has one grand finale episode left, but recent spoilers for the forthcoming fifth season are providing fans with genuine insight on what to expect in “A is for Answers” and the yet to be titled season 5 premiere episode. Fans have watched as pieces of the puzzle are slowly being put back together by none other than Alison herself; the night of her disappearance has been shrouded in mystery since the start of the series, but finally the mystery will be revealed in the season 4 finale. Series creator, Marlene King is so certain of the mystery coming to an end, that the episode has been promoted with the telling hashtag, #AliTellsAll, and considering “Pretty Little Liars” is the most tweeted about series in television, that hashtag mean something!

As for what fans can expect to see in season 5, a whole lot of Alison. Next week the former ring leader is finally forced by the Liars to fess up and tell the whole truth about the fateful night she disappeared from Rosewood, which means Alison will have significant more screen time than fans are used to seeing. But they better get used to it because season 5 is going to have a lot more Alison, mainly because she is back in Rosewood for good and won’t need to hide. However, Alison will not be regaining her spot as queen bee amongst the Liars, she will still be her secretive self, which only has Spencer, Aria, Emily and Hanna question what else she is hiding from them.

ABC Family quietly released the “Pretty Little Liars” season 5 synopsis, but while we may still be a few months away the quick paragraph gives an indication of what life will be like for the Liars in Rosewood for their coveted senior year of high school! The season 5 synopsis reads, "In the new season of the hit drama series, the PLLs must dodge their dreaded nemesis ‘A,’ while navigating a world with Alison back in it.” So if that Liars are dodging “A” that most likely means that their tormentor will finally be revealed, but now that he or she is out in the, the Liras and Alison will still encounter him or her in Rosewood. But in very typical “Pretty Little Liars” fashion, fans shouldn’t expect to keep “A” unmasked for long, with Ali back so are old tensions and bitter feuds are likely to start back up. Even though Alison was certainly not the sweetness friend to Spencer, Aria, Emily and Hanna, they still seem pretty loyal to her, which unfortunately only puts a larger target on their backs.
