Pretty Little Liars 100th Episode
Could Alison be the new "A?" If she is exposed as "A" in the Season 5 midseason finale "Taking This One To The Grave," how will the Liars react? ABC Family

The Season 5 summer finale of “Pretty Little Liars” is shaping up to be an episode to remember, with an impending death, arrest and the possibility of “A” being unmasked, fans have a lot to look forward to. But in typical “Pretty Little Liars” fashion, all of these reveals will most likely be shrouded in mystery and doubt, for that reason we are collecting our evidence and attempting to figure just who the current “A” is before “Taking This One To The Grave” premieres on August 26 on ABC Family.

Following the death of Shana in the Season 5 premiere “EscApe From New York,” the Liars have been battling against a new and improved “A,” even going so far as blowing up Toby and Jenna’s house. So who is this new “A” and how have they come back with such a vengeance? Well most fans guess is that the new “A” is none other than Alison, since her return “A” activity has been at an all time high, which with her return to Rosewood is somewhat understandable. However, the recent “A” attacks seem to be more focused on the Liars then on Alison herself.

Following episode 11, when Emily herself even slipped up and called Alison “A,” it seems like all signs point to her being the man culprit. “A” threatened her to not leave Rosewood, but Alison took a recent vacation with her father and there were no repercussions, leading fans to believe that the threat was sent from Alison herself. Additionally, Alison has the most motivation to keep the Liars from revealing her kidnapping secret, or lack thereof to the Rosewood PD. Everything that “A” has done since being back in Rosewood has been done for Alison’s advantage, “A” seemingly pushed the Liars to her side, then when they moved away from her and tried to tell the police, “A” found a way to keep the Liars loyal to Alison. Coincidence? Only time will tell!
