Season 5 of “Pretty Little Liars” is set to seriously change the “A” game, but we never considered the impact Ali’s return to Rosewood would have on the Liars already hectic lives. We should have known that Ali would stir things up, lets be real there is a reason she has been on the run for her life for the past year. Despite being well informed of Ali’s ability for manipulation, fans assumed tat once she returned to Rosewood in Season 5, things would be different.
In the Season 4 finale, “A is for Answers” Ali seemed rather repentant, admitting that she deserved most of what she got from “A,” she even went so far as to admit to the Liars that she knows she wasn’t always a good friend to them. Because of these brave confessions, fans started to see Ali’s bad girl persona fade, but it seems like it might return with her return home.
So Ali is set to change the friendship dynamic between the Liars, but she is also going to meddle in one of their relationships. “Pretty Little Liars” fans will be shocked to know that Ali is rumored to come between Caleb and Hanna in Season 5, even so far that Caleb and Ali are set to have “chemistry.” And the chemistry they shared may just be the tip of the Ali and Caleb relationship, because they might actually share a kiss! Say it isn’t so! “Pretty Little Liars” writer Bryan Holdman recently revealed the possible rift between Ali and Hanna, tweeting, “Ali and Caleb, sittin' in a tree. K-I-S-S-I-N-G…”
Caleb will return to Rosewood following his hiatus in Ravenswood for Season 5, episode 5 and according to show creator Marlene King, he is a “changed person.” Most likely Caleb and Ali will bond over the endless trauma in their life, and knowing Hanna, she is not going to be so willing to simply let Caleb back into her life, but that certainly doesn't mean she wants Ali kissing her ex-boyfriend. Fans should prepare for a Caleb, Hanna, and Ali love triangle.
