Did you catch Rashel Díaz hosting the Premios Billboard 2016 red carpet last night? Well, if you loved the Telemundo star’s hair color we have tips straight from celebrity stylist, Gabriel Samra, who worked his magic to make the host look stunning just in time for the event.

Below you will find Samra’s how-to steps to get Díaz’s beautiful honey brown locks using at-home color from Wella Color Tango:

  1. Base color: “Apply your base color to the roots to add warmth. I used equal parts of Wella Color Tango 5NN Chestnut Brown + 6NN Toffee.”

  2. Balayage: “Immediately after you apply your base use a Balayage technique to add highlights around the perimeter of your face. Start at the crown and go around both sides of your head using the Wella Color Charm Powder Lightener Volume 40. Let all the colors process for 35 minutes.”

  3. Wash and Tone: “Wash your hair and apply toner in equal parts Wella Color Tango 8C Smokey Blonde + 8NN Cappuccino - mixed with Wella Color Charm Activating Lotion 6 Vol. Let this process for approximately 10 minutes. Rinse once finished.”

  4. Blowout: “Finish the look with a blow dry and soft waves using a 1” curling iron for a salon-styled feel.”

Rashel Díaz is of Cuban descent, and has been co-hosting Telemundo’s morning variety show “Un Nuevo Día” since its start in 2008. Díaz has become very popular and has earned the love and respect of U.S. audiences through her work.
