The rich have gotten richer. Latin Times has learned that Real Madrid has acquired World Cup Champion midfielder, Toni Kroos. Kroos was the maestro in the middle for World Cup winner, Germany, navigating the midfield, placing perfect passes to his teammates and scoring two goals himself against Brazil in their 7-1 massacre in the semifinal.

Kroos plays his club ball at Bayern Munich and today Bayern chairman, Karl-Heinz Rumenigge confirmed that a deal was in place with Madrid. Kroos only had one year left on his contract with Bayern so the club is smart to move him now while they can get something in return as it is reported that Kroos would have left after the season anyway.

We believe that the deal will be finalized in the next 48 hours as Kroos has been quoted as saying publicly and through his agent that, “I’ll be going to Madrid either tomorrow or the day after.”

It was rumored that Manchester United was interested in Kroos services, but it appears Real Madrid has won the race to get Kroos with a transfer fee in the realm of $34 million. They move will solidify the midfield for the EUFA Champions, Madrid.

Soccer experts believed that it would be nearly impossible for Real Madrid to acquire both Kroos and Colombian superstar, James Rodriguez, but it appears that Real Madrid will pull off the coup of the summer in acquiring both stars.
