Rumors out of England report that Real Madrid has turned their keen eyes to Tottenham Hotspurs goalkeeper, Hugo Lloris, during January’s transfer window as a replacement for current keeper, Iker Casillas. Last week the reports were that Los Blancos was targeting Manchester United’s Spanish star, David De Gea, but the Old Trafford goalie told the media he wanted to stay with the Red Devils.

The top team in La Liga now turns their glare to the French goalkeeper Lloris who is having an outstanding season with Tottenham in the English Premier League. The move would be for an immediate back up to current goalie, Casillas whose contract expires in 2017 and his eventual long term replacement.

Despite the fact that Real Madrid made a move to secure Costa Rican hero, Keylor Navas, this summer, the team is still looking to steal one of the better goalkeepers in the EPL and bring them to Madrid. According to the Express out of the United Kingdom, Lloris is intrigued by moving to Madrid and would accept any offer to leave White Hart Lane and play in the Champions League again.

In addition to Real Madrid, Lloris will reportedly be pursued this January by Paris Saint-Germain, Arsenal and Monaco. Lloris is just 27-years-old and joined Tottenham in 2012. The Spurs recently signed Michel Vorm, which could hint that they are also open to movie their French star this winter.
