Relive The 2015 NBA Finals Through These Amazing Images [PHOTOS]

The Golden State Warriors defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers 105-97 on Tuesday night to claim their first NBA Title in 40 years. The Warriors won three consecutive games (Games 4, 5, and 6), to clinch the series in six games, and deny the Cavaliers their first ever NBA Championship.

Regular season, MVP Stephen Curry played great throughout the series, including the sixth and deciding game, but it was bench player, Andre Iguodala, who was assesed the task of locking down LeBron James on defense that took home the Bill Russell NBA Finals MVP Award. Iguodala averaged 16 points, 6 rebounds and four assists during the Finals, but his insertion into the staring lineup before Game 4, changed the series and took the Warriors to their first title since 1975.

James received four votes for Finals MVP, as he nearly became the first NBA Finals MVP on a losing team since Jerry West did it in 1969 for the Los Angeles Lakers. James had one of the best individual finals than anybody in NBA history, and nearly put his team on his back to bring home the Larry O'Brien Trophy. Without All-Stars Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving (who was injured in game one), James made stars of lesser known players Matthew Dellavedova, Timothy Mosgov and J.R. Smith.

At the end of the day, it was the Warriors who became Champions, dethroning the King in his own court. To honor the end of the NBA season, we look back at the best moments of the 2015 NBA Finals. Enjoy.
