Shortly after starring in the movie “Pink,” where Roberto Palazuelos plays a man fighting for adoption rights, we found out that what the actor is portraying in the film is far away from the truth. “El Diamante Negro” caused polemic in the LGBT circles after announcing his opinion on the subject via Twitter. The Mexican actor claims he is not homophobic, and that he is not against the rights that have been given to members of the gay community. However, there are some things he doesn’t agree with, adoption being one of them.
“I just want to make things clear, I am not homophobic. I am not against homosexuality, or gay rights. I am against gay adoption, though. I have doubts when it comes to the child’s happiness. I don’t know if the kid will be happier in an orphanage or a gay home,” said Palazuelos to El Universal. The actor also added that he doesn’t think that his work on the film is contradiction to what he is tweeting about.
