Romeo Santos has claimed YouTube throne, proving that the king stays king! The bachata crooner has made history on the video-sharing website, adding yet another achievement in his successful trajectory.
The 33-year-old superstar, according to Univision, has taken the crown for the amount of visits his YouTube channel receives. In just nine months, the "Hilito" singer managed to top the list receiving over four billion visits on his channel, RomeoSantosVEVO.
Santos, who with his former group Aventura singlehandedly revolutionized the bachata genre, has topped some of the other most-watched artists on the video platform.
This means, that the Dominican's sexy, sensual and "so naaasty" tunes, music videos and persona has managed to cause more commotion than the following stars:
- Taylor Swift, who nearly has the four billion visits
- Katy Perry, reaching the three billion visits
- Enrique Iglesias, with nearly two billion visits
- Shakira, with nearly two billion visits as well
